 The NOMAD system is a truly portable monitoring station supplied in customized carrying bags. It is specifically designed for ease of transportation , rapid setup and versatility in measurement options.

 Once on site the system can be deployed in under 5 minutes to begin recording and at the end break down and stowage is just as quick allowing the system to be moved on to the next location with the minimum of wasted time.

 An integral solar panel provides autonomous power for the unit even in the most rigorous conditions. Quality construction gives the NOMAD the independence required for prolonged operation in the harshest environments.

 Standard sensors allow the user to monitor temperature, humidity, pressure, wind speed, wind direction,  solar radiation and rainfall. Alarms can be set that will notify remotely when exceedances occur. A simpler system just for measuring wind speed and direction is also available. Additional sensors to monitor other environmental parameters can be added to the NOMAD system if required, contact Super Safety sales office for more information.

 The built in memory allows the standard 7 parameters to be logged at 1 minute intervals for over 3 months. This can be extended using industry standard Compact Flash cards if necessary.

 The Casella Multimet system is a simple low cost instrument for logging the two important parameters of wind speed and its direction.

 It is a fully professional system that can monitor the horizontal speed and direction of wind blowing across the two sensors and log time interval data from 1 minute to 2 hours in an internal flash memory chip. At 10 minute intervals there is enough storage for a full month using the 4,500 point memory.

 Results can be transferred to a computer running the Windows software package to view and archive the measurement.
