The Hip-Air Breathing Apparatus provides respiratory

protection for personnel who must work in atmospheres

that are immediately dangerous to life or health IDLH),

such as in oil drilling and the manufacturing and handling

The MSA Combination Pressure-Demand Breathing Apparatus features a lightweight shoulder harness, which is foam-padded for extra comfort and a waist belt with a seat-belt-type buckle. The handwheel of the cylinder valve is easy to grasp and operate. The

breathing apparatus comes equipped with a singlelens Ultravue or Ultra Elite Facepiece with speaking diaphragm and a low resistance, spring-loaded pressure-demand exhalation valve. MSA Air-Supply Hose must be used to maintain NIOSH approval.
